Upcoming Tour: Essequibo River Jungle Trip

The Wildtales Inc.

TV, Film & content creators

Remote jungle expertise, logistics, and safety — where production meets the real Amazon.

The Wild Tales provides specialist support for TV productions, film crews, documentary teams, and content creators working in remote rainforest environments. With more than a decade of experience, we bridge creative ambition with real-world jungle logistics, safety, and access.

What we do

Full-spectrum production support

Our work goes far beyond basic location fixing. We support productions from early planning and research through to full field execution, ensuring safe, efficient, and culturally respectful operations in some of the most remote landscapes on Earth.

01

Location Scouting & Access

We identify and secure access to filming locations most teams cannot reach: deep jungle, untouched rivers, mountain ridgelines, and Indigenous villages. Ground reconnaissance, aerial assessment, and detailed logistical reporting.

02

Fixer Services

We act as your full-service fixer across Guyana and surrounding regions, including government permits, in-country transport, air charter, accommodation sourcing, equipment logistics, local crew hire, customs clearance, fuel caching, and communications infrastructure in areas with no cell coverage.

03

Indigenous Community Liaison

We have spent over a decade building genuine relationships with Indigenous communities across the region. We handle all community engagement, free, prior, and informed consent, fair compensation, and culturally respectful production practices. We connect your production with Indigenous guides and storytellers.

04

Expedition Logistics & Field Ops

For productions beyond the reach of roads and hotels, we plan and execute full expedition-style field operations, multi-day route planning, camp management, river navigation, supply chain coordination, and daily operational oversight. We’ve managed operations lasting from days to several months.

05

Safety Planning & Medical

We develop comprehensive safety plans tailored to each production, risk assessments, emergency protocols, evacuation routes, and communications procedures. We provide wilderness-qualified medical support and maintain real-time awareness of conditions, informed by years of direct field experience.

06

On-Location Coordination

On complex multi-day shoots, we embed with your crew and manage the daily operational layer, coordinating between local teams, community contacts, transport operators, and production leadership. Real-time problem-solving when conditions change.

07

Research & Factual Support

Subject-matter briefings on Guyana’s ecosystems, wildlife, Indigenous cultures, and history. Identification of expert contributors. Factual review for accuracy. Early-stage development support to help commissioners understand what’s genuinely possible in these environments.

How our Jungle Survival Course became a draw for creators

In recent years, something unexpected happened. Our Jungle Survival Course, originally designed as a hands-on wilderness training programme, became a major draw for international content creators.

Expeditions that became productions

When an expedition becomes something bigger

Beyond creator collaborations, The Wild Tales plans and executes full-scale expeditions designed specifically for documentary and broadcast storytelling. This dual capability, supporting both individual creators and complex expedition-led documentaries, is central to who we are.

CASE STUDY

From expedition planning to broadcast documentary

What began as an expedition into rarely visited regions of Guyana’s interior later became the documentary Secret Amazon: Into the Wild. Our role wasn’t limited to logistics, we were involved from the earliest planning stages, shaping the route, securing access, coordinating with Indigenous communities, and developing the safety strategy.

This is the kind of work we do best: laying the operational and relational foundation that allows a story to be told, and told well, in environments where most production infrastructure simply doesn’t exist.
