Immerse yourself in the thrilling experience of Survival 24/7, the ideal jungle survival trip for those with limited time. This abbreviated version of our full-length survival course allows you to spend less time away from work or to evenly split your vacation between a challenging jungle survival experience and a serene Caribbean beach getaway.
Delve deep into a pristine part of the Amazon, acquiring jungle survival techniques and traditional survival skills under our expert guidance. After training, enjoy the sheer solitude amidst the lush heart of the jungle, where your only companions are the monkeys, anacondas, caimans, and jaguars. Program Structure
The Survival 24/7 program is our standard Jungle Survival course minus the isolation phase, reducing the total duration by at least four days. Embark on a one-week adventure to Guyana, deep into the jungle’s heart. Here, you’ll acquire all the necessary survival techniques to flourish in a jungle environment – from finding safe water and constructing a shelter to lighting a fire and procuring food. The jungle can be unforgiving, but with the right mindset, you’ll learn to harness its resources. Do you have what it takes?
How To Enroll
Enrolling for Survival 24/7 is a breeze – just contact us. This condensed survival course coincides with our standard two-week survival experience, so you just need to inform us that you’d prefer the 24/7 phase. This shorter course is perfect for smaller groups that may be unable to attend our larger courses. If you’re planning a group trip and require different dates, we might be able to arrange a custom course for you. Full Survival 24/7 Itinerary
Upon arrival at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport, you’ll be greeted by a taxi driver who will transport you to a hotel in the city. Get a good night’s rest to prepare for a 5.00 am check-in the following day. No meals included. Accommodation: Hotel
An early morning taxi ride will transport you to Ogle Airport, where a flight awaits to ferry you to the quaint border town of Lethem. Upon landing, you’ll be provided with jungle equipment. From there, we journey towards the Kanuku Mountains foothills. Our first stop is a small village to collect our local guides before heading into the forest. Upon arrival at our base camp, you’ll receive instructions on using a machete safely, setting up a personal camp, maintaining hygiene, and receiving your first survival lessons by the campfire.
Meals: Lunch and Dinner
Accommodation: Hammock
We’ll begin our day with survival theory classes and tales of survival. This is followed by training on local flora and fauna, hazards, and practical survival skills like shooting with a bow and arrow, fire lighting, shelter building, fishing, and trapping. At night, we engage in activities like fish hunting with a bow and arrow, forest night walks in search of snakes and reptiles, and basic navigation lessons.
Meals: All meals included.
Accommodation: Hammock
Participants will be dropped off at a designated location, armed with a belt kit, bow and arrow, a machete, and a safety radio. You’ll have to build your shelter, light a fire, and prepare for the night. The goal is to stay at their survival spot for the night, although help is nearby.
Upon your rescue, we’ll return to base camp for a hearty breakfast, after which we’ll leave the forest. A 4×4 vehicle will be waiting to transport us back to Lethem, where you’ll return your jungle equipment and head to a local hotel to freshen up and rest. In the evening, we can go out to celebrate our survival experience. Meals: Breakfast and lunch Accommodation: Hotel
After breakfast, you’ll check out the hotel and head to Lethem Airport for a flight to Georgetown. A taxi will be ready to take you to your hotel in Georgetown, a city known for its vibrant nightlife. Meals: Breakfast Accommodation: Hotel
On the final day, a taxi will transport you to Cheddi Jagan International Airport for your onward journey or return home. No meals included. No accommodation is included.
